OVERVIEW: CHILDCARE ASSESSOR / TUTOR

Are you an experienced Early Years / Childcare professional looking to make your next career move?

Recruiting on behalf of a training provider that is big on quality, which is reflected in their Ofsted grade, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

This role is part time (20 hrs per week) and is a mix of remote home-based delivery, classroom delivery and observations in the workplace. You will be responsible for the delivery of Diploma and Apprenticeships in Childcare to a caseload of learners in the Dorset area. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Childcare sector. This could be Early Years, Teaching Assistant or Residential Childcare.

You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and ideally a Teaching Qualification, along with some experience delivering diplomas / apprenticeships in Childcare.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
