Are you gifted at building teams and empowering volunteers?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as the Children and Families' Pastor at Highfield Church.

We are a thriving evangelical and charismatic Anglican Church passionate about both the Word and the Spirit. Our aim is to encounter God, grow together, and seek His kingdom. As the Children and Families' Pastor, you will play a vital role in exciting our children and families about following Jesus.

Here's What The Role Entails

Encountering God

  • Create environments where children can meet Jesus and experience His presence.
  • Facilitate opportunities for families to encounter God together.

Growing Together

  • Foster a sense of community and belonging among children and families, especially through Highfield Kids on Sundays.

Seeking the Kingdom

  • Empower children to serve and share Jesus with others.

Leading our Highfield Kids ministry on Sunday and throughout the week, you will develop engaging programs and activities to help children meet Jesus, know Jesus, and serve and share Jesus. You will work with volunteer leaders, helpers and parents to create a vibrant and welcoming Highfield Kids community. You will be supported by a church community that values the missing generations, is committed to their growth, and values its partnership with our School.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
