Children and Young People’s Support Worker

Location: North Norfolk
Contract: Permanent, Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum

Not For Profit People are recruiting on behalf of a specialist charity supporting children, young people and families affected by domestic abuse.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Children and Young People’s Support Worker to join a dedicated team delivering vital support services across North Norfolk. This is a hybrid role, combining home working with community-based support, including regular visits to schools and other settings across North Norfolk. Travel is required throughout the region, and mileage expenses will be reimbursed.

About the Role

As a Children and Young People’s Support Worker, you will provide confidential, non-judgemental support to children and young people who have experienced, or are living with, domestic abuse. You will work directly with young people and their families, helping them access the support they need to improve their wellbeing, resilience and safety.

The role involves managing your own caseload, undertaking assessments, developing support plans, maintaining accurate records and working closely with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. You will play an important role in safeguarding vulnerable children, promoting their welfare and ensuring they receive timely, person-centred support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
