Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the content acquisition strategy for children's and family programming.
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire high-quality animation, educational, entertainment, and live-action children's content from global and regional content owners.
- Build and maintain relationships with studios, distributors, broadcasters, independent producers, creators, and licensing agencies.
- Research market trends, audience preferences, and competitor libraries to identify content opportunities and gaps.
- Lead commercial negotiations for licensing agreements, including rights, territories, languages, exclusivity, duration, pricing, and renewal terms.
- Ensure all acquired content complies with legal, regulatory, child safety, and platform content standards.
- Evaluate content quality, educational value, cultural relevance, age appropriateness, and commercial potential.
- Work closely with legal teams on licensing agreements, intellectual property, and rights management.
- Coordinate with content operations to ensure timely delivery of masters, metadata, subtitles, dubbing materials, artwork, and promotional assets.
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and product teams to optimize content launch, merchandising, and discoverability.
- Monitor content performance using viewership, engagement, retention, and revenue metrics, and recommend renewals or removals.
- Develop relationships with Arabic and international children's content creators to expand exclusive and original programming.
- Attend international content markets, animation festivals, and licensing events to identify acquisition opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Support co-production, commissioning, and investment opportunities for original children's content.
- Manage acquisition budgets and ensure optimal return on content investment.
- Maintain accurate licensing, rights, and contract records.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Business, Film, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in children's content acquisition, media licensing, OTT platforms, television, animation, or distribution.
- Strong understanding of content licensing, intellectual property, and international media rights.
- Existing relationships with children's studios, distributors, and content owners.
- Knowledge of children's programming trends, educational content, animation, and family entertainment.
- Experience negotiating multi-territory licensing agreements.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using content performance analytics to support acquisition decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is highly desirable. Additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Industry Experience
