We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Children Law Paralegal to support our experienced solicitors based in Milton Keynes and Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for children law and helping clients through some of the most challenging periods in their lives.
About the Role
As a Children Law Paralegal, you will work closely with our children law accredited specialist solicitors dealing primarily with Public Law Children work and some Private Law cases. Our clients include professional CAFCASS Guardians, parents, and the children themselves.
You will play a key role in supporting the solicitors in the team including case preparation, liaising with clients, drafting legal documents, managing files, and ensuring each matter progresses efficiently. You will receive appropriate supervision.

What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within Children Law (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage a busy and varied workload independently
- Confidence using our case management system and Microsoft Office
- A compassionate, professional, and client-focused approach
- A Law degree, CILEX qualification or equivalent legal experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Full UK driving licence
