Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per year, depending on experience
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join a children’s residential care team in Chesterfield.
You will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a safe and nurturing environment. The role requires someone who can lead by example and work effectively as part of a care team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and support to children and young people.
- Support their wellbeing, development and independence.
- Work with the team to maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Follow safeguarding and care procedures.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare – Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in children’s residential care.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding.
