Clinical Educator
As a Clinical Educator, you will work as part of the psychological professions training team at Sussex University, supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based education and clinical training for Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP's). You will combine clinical expertise with educational practice to ensure trainees develop the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviours required for safe and effective practice.
You will contribute to the design, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning activities, including:
- Skills-based teaching
- Clinical simulations
- Applied academic content
You will support trainees’ development across academic, clinical, and professional domains, including the integration of theory into practice.

The post holder will work collaboratively with academic staff, clinical supervisors, and service partners to ensure that training remains aligned with national curricula, service priorities, and professional standards. You will provide mentorship, teaching, and clinical guidance to trainees, supporting their progression and competence within a structured training programme.
