Bethany, Prenton is looking for a Children’s and Youth Worker to join their team. This role is for 12-30 hours a week (negotiable) and will be looking to start in September.
Salary: £11.50 – 13/hr (depending on experience)
We are looking to appoint a part-time children’s and youth worker to:

Provide Christian teaching for an established group of teenagers on a Sunday morning.

Re-establish a midweek children’s and youth work reaching out to the neighbourhood. The format of this work is to be agreed and you will need to recruit, train and develop a sustainable volunteer group from our membership to help.

Depending on the hours worked the role may also involve outreach work to families and in local schools, building strategically sustainable relationships with the aim of delivering RE and PSE lessons, lunchtime groups, mentoring and/or other resources as appropriate.
We are looking for this appointment to start in September 2024
You will need to have suitable experience and have a heart for reaching and nurturing children and young people in the Christian faith.
