About the Role
As a Lifetime Support Worker, you'll support children with life-limiting conditions alongside our Community Children's Nurses, providing clinical care in children's homes and, where needed, schools.
This varied and rewarding role offers flexibility around family life, supporting a healthy work-life balance while building a career.
From day one, you'll receive a tailored induction and training programme to build your skills and confidence to work independently in the community, backed by a welcoming team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to children with complex, life-limiting health care needs that rely on technology to sustain their health.
- Work within the family’s home, overnight taking over responsibility for the child whilst parents sleep.
- Support the registered nurses in the delivery of care to our service users in the community.
- Contribute towards the safe and seamless delivery of holistic care, working safely within your scope of practice and competence at all times.
- Undertake clinical tasks to support each individual with personal care that will be set out in their care plans.
