As a Lifetime Support Worker
As a Lifetime Support Worker, you’ll support children with life limiting conditions, working alongside our Community Children’s Nurses to provide clinical care in children’s homes and, where needed, schools.
No two days are the same. This varied and rewarding role offers flexibility around family life, helping you build a career while maintaining a healthy work life balance.
From day one, you’ll receive a tailored induction and training programme to build your skills and confidence to work independently in the community, with support from a welcoming team.
We’re looking for caring, compassionate people with excellent communication skills who can use their initiative, work independently and are committed to delivering outstanding care.
Whether you’re experienced in care or looking to develop your career, we’ll support your ambitions.

Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide care to children with complex, life-limiting health care needs that rely on technology to sustain their health. Parents need to be able to rest, Lifetime support workers work within the family’s home, overnight taking over responsibility for the child whilst parents sleep.
As a member of the Lifetime service, you will support the registered nurses in the delivery of care to our service users in the community and contribute towards the safe and seamless delivery of holistic care, working safely within your scope of practice and competence at all times.
You will undertake clinical tasks to support each individual with personal care that will be set out in their care plans – every child has their own individual needs so you will gain experience caring for a wide variety of health conditions and specialised equipment.
