Our Client is looking for passionate and committed Children's Social Workers to join its ambitious Children's Services team.

As a Children's Social Worker, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, developing care plans, and delivering effective interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Work closely with families and partner agencies to help children remain safe, supported, and able to achieve their full potential.
- Play a vital role in ensuring children receive the right support at the right time, whether working with Children in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, or Children in Care Proceedings.

- Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Undertake statutory assessments, including Child and Family Assessments.
- Develop and implement outcome-focused care and support plans.
- Complete Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children work as required.
- Assess risk and make informed decisions to safeguard children and young people.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, carers, and partner agencies.
- Prepare high-quality reports, court statements, and assessments.
- Participate in Child Protection Conferences, Core Groups, and multi-agency meetings.
- Ensure compliance with statutory guidance, legislation, and council policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case recordings and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with education, health, police, and voluntary sector partners.
- Promote strengths-based and relationship-focused social work practice.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Degree in Social Work (BA, MA, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within Children's Social Care.
- Sound knowledge of:
- Children Act 1989 and 2004
- Working Together to Safeguard Children
- Child Protection Procedures
- Care Planning and Court Processes
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet statutory timescales.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable
- Experience within a Locality, Safeguarding, Assessment, or Looked After Children team.
- Experience of court work and care proceedings.
- Knowledge of strengths-based and restorative practice models.
