Barnet Children’s Integrated Therapies Opportunity
Barnet Children’s Integrated Therapies have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a 0.6 WTE (3 days per week) permanent post.
This role involves working with children and young people aged 0–19 years across a variety of settings. You will work collaboratively as part of a wider multidisciplinary team (MDT), alongside education, health and social care professionals, to deliver coordinated, child-centred care and achieve the best possible outcomes. You will manage a diverse and rewarding caseload, supporting children and young people with a wide range of needs, including physical disabilities, developmental coordination difficulties, neurodevelopmental differences, sensory processing differences and complex needs.
You will have opportunities for Agile working arrangements including the provision of mobile technology and flexible working hours and arrangements.
About The Role
OTs in Barnet work as part of a dynamic Integrated Therapy Team. The wider service supports children and young people across a range of settings including special schools, mainstream schools and clinics, with needs ranging from mild to highly complex.

Your Role Will Include
- Providing specialist assessment, advice and intervention in 1:1 and group settings
- Working collaboratively with school staff to embed therapeutic strategies
- Educating and upskilling those around the child so that strategies can be embedded into daily routines.
- Providing Universal OT support through delivering training and drop in sessions for early identification of needs.
