Residential Care Worker

Full-time & Part-time roles | up to £34,320 (full time, including sleep-ins)

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED – JUST A POSITIVE MINDSET!

Location: Various Locations within Shropshire, Powys and Staffordshire

We’ll pay for you to gain your Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications, plus all the support and training you need to succeed.

What You’ll Do as a Residential Care Worker:

  • Build positive, supportive relationships with young people up to 18.
  • Assist with daily routines such as self-care, household tasks, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Participating in school life and leading educational and life skills activities.
  • Encourage development through structured activities, education support, and community engagement.
  • Promote independence and choice while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver care plans, track progress, and communicate with families and professionals.
  • Follow a shift pattern (with sleep-ins)
  • Part-time options (60, 90, or 120 hrs/month) as well as full time options (Sleep-ins required)

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help.
  • A calm and reliable nature in challenging situations
  • Willingness to complete (fully funded) QCF Level 3 training
  • A true passion for supporting and inspiring children to thrive.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • We do not use agency staff; therefore, we require people to be flexible to cover shifts.
