Fantastic opportunity to work as part of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust's Children's Speech and Language Therapy team.
4.5 days, term time only role
Working as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. Opportunities may be available across a wide range of settings including special schools, mainstream schools.
This position may involve working across a range of needs and ages, supporting children and their families at universal, targeted and specialist levels through the Balanced System approach. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic, committed and dynamic speech and language therapists who will provide an excellent service to the young people of Stockport.
Requirements
The successful candidates will hold a Degree/Masters level qualification or equivalent and be a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. They will also be registered as a Speech and Language Therapist with the HCPC.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children as a Speech and Language Therapist. This experience could have been gained in a range of settings such as community clinics, child development teams, mainstream or special schools. They will have a good grasp of the SEND Code of Practice, universal, targeted and specialist approaches and experience of working with partners to achieve the best possible outcomes. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.

We are currently recruiting to a number of positions which may cover mainstream or special schools, as well as other duties within the team covering all ages.
