Children's Nurses (Bank)

Are you a passionate Children's Nurse looking for a new challenge?

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust (RNOH), the UK's largest specialist orthopaedic hospital, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Children's Nurses to join our Staff Bank.

Working within our dynamic and supportive paediatric team, you will care for children and young people aged 0-18 years with a wide range of orthopaedic conditions in our 27-bed inpatient ward. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills within a nationally recognised centre of excellence.

About You

We are looking for Children's Nurses who are:

  • Highly motivated and compassionate
  • Enthusiastic, innovative and eager to learn
  • Flexible and able to prioritise effectively
  • Committed to delivering high-quality patient care
  • Looking to develop within the specialist field of orthopaedics

No previous orthopaedic experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust (RNOH), the UK's leading specialist orthopaedic hospital, is seeking motivated and dynamic Bank Children's Nurses to join our friendly, supportive, and enthusiastic paediatric team.

Working within our 27-bed inpatient paediatric ward, you will provide high-quality care to children and young people aged 0-18 years with a variety of orthopaedic conditions. Whether you are an experienced nurse or looking to develop specialist skills in orthopaedics, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a learning-rich environment.

The Role

As a Bank Children's Nurse, You Will

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised nursing care.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to children and young people.
  • Act as a named nurse for allocated patients.
  • Participate in admission, discharge, and ongoing care planning.
  • Work autonomously and as part of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Advocate for children, young people, and their families.
  • Maintain high professional standards in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure safeguarding principles are upheld at all times.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a safe, effective, and compassionate service.

The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) is a national centre of excellence, treating patients from across the UK who are often referred for second opinions or for the management of complex or rare orthopaedic conditions.
