We are seeking a motivated Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join our well-established Children’s Psychological Health & Wellbeing team
You will be part of a strong, experienced CWP team (4 practitioners) working alongside Psychological Practitioners within a mature stepped care model.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a service already delivering evidence-based early intervention, with clear pathways, robust supervision, and a strong focus on outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver low-intensity interventions for children, young people and families experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This includes working with children who present with neurodivergence and also co-occurring physical health conditions, requiring flexible, personalised and neuroaffirmative approaches to care.
- Manage a defined caseload, contribute to assessment and use routine outcome measures to guide care within a supportive MDT.
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified CWP who is passionate about early intervention, inclusion, and improving access, with strong engagement and organisational skills.

Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
Additional Information
The post involves provision of evidence-based interventions to children and young people with neurodivergence and/or physical health conditions for example, Autism or ADHD at a Child Development Centre. Where appropriate to provide support for the work of other members of the multidisciplinary team and signpost families to appropriate support. Finally, to contribute where appropriate, to service development and consultation to the wider MDT.
