Children's Worker

As a Children's Worker at Broadacres Housing Association in our women's refuge, your role will involve creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in a Domestic Abuse Support setting. You will be responsible for organising engaging activities, providing support to families, and advocating for the needs of the children in the scheme. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families, and to be a key figure in their journey towards stability and happiness. About You

You will be an excellent communicator, with strong listening skills and great attention to detail. Able to create a fun, safe and welcoming environment for children in a difficult situation, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable children
  • Level 2 qualification in relevant field

Desirable

  • Experience of working in domestic abuse support setting
