Chiller Engineer (Site Based)

Location: Andover with travel

Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Chiller Engineer to join our HVAC Engineering team. This role is predominantly site-based working out of our Andover head office & largest depot servicing and maintaining our fleet of temporary hire equipment. On occasion this role will attend customers sites for support on installations, breakdowns and maintenance.

If you have a strong background in commercial refrigeration, along with F-Gas qualification, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a supportive environment focused on professional growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service & maintain our chiller fleet to maximise fleet availability.
  • Repair stock on and attend service breakdowns promptly at customers sites.
  • Proactively identify operational improvements to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure full compliance with company systems, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Lead by example in promoting a "serious about safety" culture.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required to support the team.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working on commercial chillers.
  • F-Gas qualified.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally.
  • Commitment to completing jobs fully, with a tidy work ethic.
  • Ability to work under own initiative, well-organized, and IT literate.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Impeccable administrative skills for accurate record-keeping.
  • Flexible and approachable, with excellent teamworking abilities.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in the HVAC hire industry.
  • Electrical qualification.

  • Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday to Friday) with 1-hour lunch break.
