💰 Pay: Hourly to start, with opportunity to transition into production/commission-based earnings

About The Role 🧱
Dave’s Chimney Service is looking for an experienced Chimney Lead Technician / Foreman / Mason to join our team in Methuen, MA. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for running jobs from start to finish, managing a crew, and ensuring high-quality work on every project. If you take pride in your work, know the trade, and want to grow your income based on performance, this is the role for you.
Schedule 🕒
- Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Some days may run earlier or later depending on jobs
- Occasional Saturdays required

What You’ll Do 🛠️
Field Work & Installation
- Install chimney liners, wood stoves, caps, dampers, and chase covers
- Perform chimney repairs, rebuilds, flashing, and crown work
- Execute masonry work including tuckpointing, brick replacement, and restoration
Leadership & Job Management
- Lead and supervise crew members
- Train apprentices and team members
- Keep jobs on schedule and running efficiently
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Operations
- Set up and manage scaffolding, ladders, and job-site equipment
- Complete job documentation, photos, and invoices
- Collect payments when required
- Maintain clean job sites and company vehicles
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and professionally
Compensation & Growth 📈
- Hourly pay to start (based on experience)

Requirements ✅
- 2+ years chimney or related trade experience
- Masonry experience
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and clearances
- Leadership experience preferred
- Comfortable working at heights, roofs, and scaffolding
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Tech proficiency (iPad)
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Experience preferred, not required for all aspects
