Role Description
The Chinese HR Director will lead human resources strategy and operations for Chinese-speaking talent and stakeholders within Transform Talent, ensuring alignment with business goals and leadership development objectives. This full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom involves designing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee relations, and managing performance processes across relevant teams. The role includes advising on labor and employment law matters, supporting recruitment and onboarding of Chinese-speaking professionals, and partnering with leadership to build high-performance, engaged teams. The HR Director will collaborate closely with coaching and assessment leaders to support succession planning, talent development initiatives, and organizational change efforts. The position also requires preparing HR reports, monitoring HR metrics, and driving continuous improvement in HR practices to support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

- Strong Human Resources (HR) management skills, including strategic HR planning and operational HR leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain HR policies that support compliance and organizational effectiveness.
- Expertise in employee relations, including conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and support for a collaborative work environment.
- Experience in performance management, including goal-setting, feedback processes, and development planning.
- Solid understanding of labor and employment law, with the ability to advise on compliance and risk management.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and strong proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in professional services, coaching, consulting, or international organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; advanced HR qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the London Area, United Kingdom, and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
