Brook Street is working with a Commercial Insurance Broker that specializes in all commercial business insurances. Our client prides themselves on delivering outstanding customer service, expert guidance, and tailored insurance solutions to clients.
As the business continues to grow, our client is looking for a Chinese Speaking Customer Service & Sales Adviser to support their Mandarin and Cantonese speaking customers.
This is a brand-new role offering an excellent opportunity to play a key part in developing the Chinese-speaking client base while providing exceptional service and support.
The Role
- Monday - Friday
- Fully office based
- Hours: Flexible to work around the business.
- Location: BD10, Bradford
- Salary: £12.71 per hour
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week (approximately 4 hours per day)
- Contract: Part-Time

Key Responsibilities
- Contact lapsed clients and prospective new customers to introduce services and provide insurance quotations.
- Follow up on insurance renewals already issued to clients.
- Translate and explain policy information, renewal terms, and risk information clearly to Chinese-speaking customers.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Support customers with policy enquiries, mid-term adjustments, and general account queries.
- Liaise with the broking and insurance handling teams to ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively.
- Relay customer feedback and important information back to internal stakeholders.
- Manage email correspondence and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records using internal systems.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales, telesales, account management, or client-facing role.
- Confident speaking with customers over the phone and via email.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to explain complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
