Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Chinese speaking Paralegal role based in London. The paralegal will support fee earners across commercial, corporate, litigation, property, private client, and immigration matters, including preparing and reviewing documents, drafting correspondence, and maintaining case files. Day-to-day duties include legal research, document translation between English and Chinese, managing deadlines, assisting with court bundles, and liaising with clients and third parties. The role involves organizing and updating matter-related documentation, attending client meetings where required, and ensuring accurate records in case management systems. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and solicitors in a fast-paced environment while upholding confidentiality and high professional standards.

- Strong legal research, document review, and drafting abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), including professional translation skills.
- Proficiency in case management systems, Microsoft Office, and general document management tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to build effective client and team relationships.
- Prior experience in a commercial law firm or exposure to corporate, litigation, property, private client, or immigration work is advantageous.
- Law degree, Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), Legal Practice Course (LPC), or equivalent legal training is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
