Chiropractic Admin & Rehab Assistant
We are looking for a health-orientated person with excellent attention to detail to join our Chiropractic team on Green Park in Reading. This position needs no previous experience or knowledge of the industry, just both a driven and caring nature to look after the clients. It would suit someone with a keen interest in health, wellness and rehabilitation, that loves customer service!
The role is 6 shifts over 5 days, and the clinic is open Monday - Saturday. Full flexibility to change shift pattern is required to suit any changes within the business needs. Weekend team training sessions and conference attendance are occasionally required to attend. The role requires shift cover for your colleagues' annual leave.
Duties
- Diary management - booking clients appointments, taking payments, arranging care plans
- Ensuring all front desk admin is up to date, including, recalls, filing, scanning, emails, cash up, and product ordering
- Being the energy and face at the front desk delivering excellent customer service
- Health insurance administration
- Liaising with clients on the telephone, in person and by email
- Greeting new clients and showing them around the practice
- Being involved in social media - happy to be in front of the camera for both educational and fun social media interactions
- Keeping up to date with current promotions and actively promoting them within the Practice
- Assisting the chiropractor like a personal assistant with secretarial and administration tasks
- Running the traction and rehab area. Hands on requirement to assist with clients is 50% of the role.
- Assisting clients with using the rehab and traction equipment – strapping clients into the equipment and assisting them with their structural correction. Attention to details and practical hands on ability are a must.
- Looking after the exercise station where clients carry out specific stretches, stabilising and postural corrective exercises and ensuring clients are monitored and doing them correctly

Ideal Candidate
This role would suit this type of individual:
- Who is health orientated and wants to be in a role that makes a difference to people’s lives, and helps to get people healthier and live a better life
- Someone who loves people! A people's person, who has great energy and customer service skills - very important
- Who is exceptional at multitasking and has great attention to detail
- Essential – Must speak and write fluent English due to lots of client communication via phone, email and in person. Excellent communication skills is a must for this role.
- An active person who is able to take a practical role in the client’s rehabilitation – as the role requires to be on your feet and back and forth between the front desk and rehabilitation area all day. Someone who enjoys the variety of the admin and practical combination.
- Personable, friendly and caring person as a lot of time is spent interacting with clients
- Ability to work in a fast paced open plan environment
- A flexible and reliable individual due to the nature of the role, cover must be arranged in house for annual leave, and to fit opening hours of practice so willingness to do occasional overtime is required to keep the business running at full capacity.
