The Chlamydia Screening Programme
The Chlamydia Screening Programme is part of the Sexual Health and Contraception services (SHAC) in Brighton and Hove. The service is operating from 3 hubs, with outreach to other parts of the city.
Working as part of a team to deliver the highest standards of administrative support for patients and staff, main duties will include:
- Data collection and analysis
- Informing best practice
- Seeking & evaluating improvements through data with use of patient management systems and spreadsheets
The post holder will oversee administrative staff and patient management processes for the delivery, inputting and communication of home test kits and results.
- Assist with patient data collection by the development of databases and spreadsheets
- Work collaboratively with the Recall Health Advisors to ensure a joined-up approach to results management across the service and support delivery across teams when required
- Task manage administrators processing recalls and positive results and provide information on procedures to the wider Integrated Service Team to ensure the highest compliance with policies and procedures and local guidance
- Lead and manage daily positive STI results list and its associated interpretation and administration including continual review and development of the patient positive results and recall system to promote maximum efficiency
- Order health resources through IPORC systems, such as patient information leaflets; condoms and training materials within stock budget as required
- Attend outreach events such as Fresher’s fair in conjunction with the Health Promotion Specialist
