Job Title: Christmas Temp – Part-Time Shop Assistant
Contract Period: November 2026 – January 2027
Hours: 20 hours per week (requires working weekends and bank holidays)
Pay: £13.15 per hour (£12.80 per hour during probationary period)
Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Shop Assistant to join our team for the busy festive season! If you are a self-motivated team player who thrives in a premium retail environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Excellence: Provide exceptional service to create a warm, welcoming festive shopping experience.
- Drive Sales: Actively use cross-selling and upselling techniques to boost seasonal sales opportunities.
- Store Standards: Maintain visual presentation and store organisation to company standards during peak trading.
- Operations: Confidently operate the POS system to process transactions accurately and assist with stock replenishment.

What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in retail (high-end or fashion retail preferred).
- Experience operating POS systems for cash and card transactions.
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- A strong interest in current fashion trends.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
