Christopher Howell
Christopher Howell and Katie Lazar have built an incredible outpost in Napa focusing on land, soil and sweat. Chris has been following the process from the vineyard into the winery while Katie charts a course through people and commerce. Known for balanced and earth driven Napa blends, they pioneer projects which include their NV to their Cain 5, conceived to highlight five traditional Bordeaux varieties. Prior to Cain, Howell honed his craft at Mouton Rothschild, Clos du Val and Peter Michael. He studied viticulture and enology at the School of Agronomy in Montpellier, France.
