Are you a practising Christian with a mature, active faith? Have you got a pastoral heart? Are you passionate about connecting churches with people facing homelessness? If so, this role could be for you.
Role: Church Engagement and Chaplaincy Officer
Reporting to: Fundraising and Marketing Manager
Hours: Part-time - 1.5 days (11.25 hours) per week, with some evening and occasional weekend working to attend church services, events and meetings

Salary: £9,100 per annum (pro rata)
Location: Oakley Hall, 8 Castle St, High Wycombe HP13 6RF with some travel to local churches and meeting places

WHC is a Christian-led charity that's spent nearly 20 years preventing and reducing homelessness across south Buckinghamshire — recently recognised with an Outstanding Contribution to the Charity Sector award. Our faith shapes everything we do, though we never promote or evangelise; the people we support come from all faiths and none.

The Role
This new post will strengthen WHC's Christian life. You'll build relationships with local churches, encouraging prayer, volunteering and practical support, while offering pastoral and spiritual support to staff, trustees, volunteers and clients who want it.
Some evening and weekend work is required for church services and events.
