Overview
Lead projects, Impact the World.
You might know us for the great work we do across our wide variety of projects. We're proud to say it's thanks to our people's diversity of thought, expertise, and knowledge. And when you join us, you'll be a part of this genuinely collaborative environment, where everyone's voice is valued and treated equally.
We're passionate about what we do, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Simply put, this is a great place to be. So, when it comes to your life outside of work, ask us about our flexible and remote working policies designed to help you get the most out of life.
If you are someone who can deliver projects, work closely with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver right-first-time solutions for the most challenging problems in the energy industry, then we would love you to apply. We are currently delivering a portfolio of projects spanning energy storage, industrial decarbonisation, and across the hydrogen value chain.
Your role
Do you enjoy tackling complex engineering problems and applying your expertise across a diverse range of projects? As a Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering solutions that help address the energy trilemma by improving the sustainability, security, and affordability of energy for future generations.
As a C&I Engineer in our Power and Energy Solutions Practice, we are looking for someone versatile; you could be working on several small projects or overseeing several C&I engineers to deliver a multi-discipline project. The role may include:
- Executing and steering technical delivery of projects (C&I engineering scope).
- Collaborating with other disciplines on design projects.
- Managing client relationships.
- Providing quality technical advice to customers and internal teams.
About you
You will enjoy working within multidisciplinary C&I teams and adopting a client-focused approach to project delivery. You will be driven to continuously improve our technical capabilities, engineering quality, and project deliverables.
Experience across multiple phases of the project lifecycle, including concept studies, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), and detailed design, is desirable, together with a proven track record of successful delivery. Operational and maintenance experience, combined with a sound understanding of C&I equipment specification and selection, will also be considered in lieu of specific design experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
