This is a permanent, full-time daytime role, working Monday to Friday, and offers a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting operational performance through the identification, development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Leads local Continuous Improvement activities, drives the application of improvement methodologies and supports operational teams in delivering sustainable efficiency, quality and performance improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and business impact.
  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across the operational area.
  • Identify and analyse improvement opportunities using operational data and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support operational teams in implementing sustainable improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of improvement actions.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Continuous Improvement Specialists.
  • Ensure consistent application of Continuous Improvement methodologies and standards.
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to align improvement activities with business needs.
  • Provide regular updates on Continuous Improvement activities, progress and outcomes.

Core Capabilities:

  • People Leadership: Leads and develops a team of CI Specialists by setting clear direction, coaching team members and ensuring consistent delivery of improvement activities within the operational area.
  • Problem Solving: Analyses operational issues using multiple sources of information, identifies root causes and supports the implementation of effective, practical solutions within the local context.
  • Continuous Improvement: Applies standard improvement methodologies and tools to drive consistent and structured performance improvements, ensuring alignment with centrally defined approaches and local operational needs.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Continuous Improvement within an operational environment (Lean, Six Sigma or similar).
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into practical improvements.
  • Good understanding of warehouse, logistics or operational processes.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Pragmatic, results-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
