About IB Heros
IB Heros is a Melbourne-based tutoring company supporting students across the IB, A-Level, VCE, and HKDSE curricula. We pair students with tutors who combine strong subject expertise with a genuine talent for teaching, helping them build both confidence and results.
About the Role
We're looking for a knowledgeable, engaging tutor to deliver Computer Science and Physics tuition to students studying the Cambridge International (CIE) A-Level syllabus. Sessions are delivered online, one-on-one or in small groups, with scheduling built around your availability — so you can tutor from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in CIE A-Level Computer Science and Physics
- Prepare tailored lesson plans, worked examples, and past paper practice
- Track student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to students and families
- Strengthen students' exam technique, problem-solving skills, and subject confidence
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and the IB Heros team

About You
- Strong personal A-Level (or equivalent) results in Computer Science and/or Physics, ideally A*/A
- Strong academic background in Computer Science and/or Physics (degree level or higher preferred)
- Solid understanding of the CIE A-Level syllabus, past papers, and grading criteria
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience, ideally at A-Level or equivalent senior secondary level
- Clear, patient communicator who can explain technical concepts simply
- Reliable, organised, and genuinely invested in student outcomes
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
