Are you a qualified accountancy professional with experience developing high-quality assessment materials? We are looking for experienced professionals to join us on a part-time freelance contract for a fixed period (approximately 9-11 months).

About the Role

You will develop assessment materials for the CGMA Professional Qualification that reflect the real-world skills and behaviours required of future finance leaders.

You will develop realistic and engaging examination materials for the CGMA Professional Qualification, ensuring they align with the CIMA syllabus, assessment objectives, and quality standards. Working collaboratively with other subject matter experts, you will create business scenarios, pre-seen materials, and exam variants that assess candidates' ability to apply their knowledge and in real-world contexts. This is an opportunity to help shape the next generation of finance professionals while contributing to the integrity and relevance of CIMA's qualifications.

Opportunities are available across all three levels of the CGMA Professional Qualification: Operational, Management, and Strategic. Please note your preference in your application, as we may consider you for any level.

This is a fully remote freelance role, with occasional travel to CIMA's UK offices in London.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
