Contract: Network Engineer - Cisco Meraki / Wi-Fi
Location: On site role in Cardiff
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience. (Inside IR35 via an umbrella solution)

We are looking for 2 Network Engineers (one junior & one senior) to support a major corporate client on a project on site in Cardiff, Wales.
Key Requirements:
- Senior Role: 5+ years' network engineering experience
- Junior Role: 2+ years experience
- Strong Cisco Meraki experience
- Enterprise/high-density Wi-Fi
- Wireless surveys, deployment and optimisation
- Switching, routing, VLANs, TCP/IP, DHCP & DNS
- Network troubleshooting and incident management
- Experience supporting large client environments. Any entertainment experience is beneficial.
- Comfortable providing onsite support during live events
- CCNA/CCNP or Meraki certification desirable

The Role
You'll provide hands-on network support covering Meraki switching, Wi-Fi, connectivity, troubleshooting and event readiness. The environment is fast-paced and business-critical, supporting services such as ticketing, POS, guest Wi-Fi, broadcast and event network technology.
Network Operations and Support
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Cisco Meraki switching, wireless, and security environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve wired and wireless network issues across multiple venues.
- Support incident management and escalation processes during live events and critical operations.
- Perform routine maintenance, firmware upgrades, and network health assessments.
- Document network configurations, operational procedures, and support activities.

Wireless Design and Implementation
- Assist with WiFi network design, deployment, and optimisation for high density venue environments.
- Conduct wireless surveys, coverage validation, and performance testing.
- Support configuration of Meraki Access Points, controllers, VLANs, SSIDs, and security policies.
- Identify and remediate RF interference and connectivity bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on wireless expansion projects.
