Life on the Team

Are you passionate about helping customers unlock the full value of Cisco Security and Software solutions? Do you thrive on building relationships, creating commercial propositions, and driving growth across enterprise customers? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

As a Cisco Security & Software Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in helping Computacenter identify, shape and win both new and existing Cisco opportunities, with a particular focus on Cisco Security, Software and Enterprise Agreements (EA). Working closely with customers, account teams, specialists and Cisco, you'll help develop campaigns, create compelling customer propositions and support opportunities through to successful conclusion.

You'll join a collaborative and high-performing team where you'll have the opportunity to influence growth, strengthen strategic vendor partnerships and support some of the UK's largest organisations with their technology transformation journeys. This role combines strategic business development with commercial execution and is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Generate, qualify and progress new and existing Cisco Security, Software and Enterprise Agreement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Computacenter sales teams and Cisco stakeholders to identify customer opportunities and develop account strategies.
  • Shape and coordinate campaigns that drive pipeline growth and create measurable customer value.
  • Support account teams throughout the sales cycle, helping to build compelling commercial propositions and routes to close.
  • Develop customer proposals, RFQ and RFP responses, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and commercial objectives.
  • Create and support Cisco Enterprise Agreement proposals, including pricing, commercial modelling and proposition development.
  • Present proposals and recommendations to customers, influencing buying decisions and strengthening trusted relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, Cisco teams and internal business units.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from procurement and operational teams through to senior leadership and executive sponsors.
  • Deliver enablement sessions to help sales teams confidently position Cisco Security, Software and Enterprise Agreement propositions.
  • Maintain awareness of Cisco portfolio developments, licensing models, buying programmes and market trends.
  • Support Enterprise Agreement activation activities, including Cisco Smart Account management.
  • Identify renewal, expansion, upsell and cross-sell opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the growth of Cisco revenue, software adoption and long-term customer success across Computacenter's customer base.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
