Cisco Telephony & Video Conferencing Team Lead

Location: Stevenage, UK

Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance is a must-have

Job Description:

  • Advanced knowledge & Hands-on Cisco video conferencing (CMS, Expressways, B2B, MRA)
  • Advanced knowledge & Hands-on Cisco VC Endpoints different models (Room, SX, personal, EQ, Webex & Board series)
  • Advanced knowledge & Hands-on room peripherals (room navigators, Barco, Displays)
  • Advanced knowledge of video codecs & Encryption algorithms
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco Telephony (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, Cisco SBS, TRP)
  • Good knowledge of licensing models & certificates
  • Good knowledge of SIP/H323 protocols, security, as well as system administration
  • Knowledge of VMware
  • CCNP Voice
  • Team Management/ People Skills

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve Level 2 Telephony / Video Conferencing Oriented Incidents
  • Support hardware or application troubleshooting
  • Respond to customer escalations
  • Participate in Telephony / Videoconferencing Projects
  • Assist the operations teams on an ad hoc basis
  • Ensure the sanity of the Telephony / Videoconferencing infrastructure
  • Management of the local team and sharing of skills
  • Vendor & L3 escalations when needed
