About Us

Our client operates a global quick-service restaurant network specialising in pizza production, franchising and delivery across multiple markets. The organisation manages an extensive retail and digital footprint, supporting thousands of franchise partners and running regional dough manufacturing and distribution centres. The business blends large-scale retail operations with digital ordering platforms to deliver timely, consistent food experiences to consumers worldwide.

Job Description

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will lead enterprise cyber security strategy to protect digital revenue streams, customer data and operational continuity. The role will define a pragmatic security roadmap aligned to rapid digital growth, franchise operations and supply chain dependencies. Success Will Be Measured By Reduced Risk Exposure, Faster Incident Containment, And Improved Executive Confidence In Security Controls.

This position Requires Regular Board And Executive Engagement To Translate Technical Risk Into Commercial Decisions. The CISO Will Oversee Security Operations, Incident Response, Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance With Critical Regulations, And The Development Of Emerging Risk Capabilities Such As AI Governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the enterprise cyber security strategy and roadmap.
  • Report regularly to Board, Audit Committee and Executive Leadership on cyber risk and progress.
  • Own incident response and crisis management capability.
  • Strengthen third-party and supply chain security standards.
  • Drive security governance, policy and compliance programmes across the business.
  • Build cyber capability for AI, cloud and OT risk areas.
  • Embed security into product, digital and franchise operations to enable safe growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CISO or equivalent in complex, customer-facing organisations.
  • Demonstrable track record of presenting to Boards and Audit Committees.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate cyber risk into business terms.
  • Deep knowledge of regulations such as PCI DSS, GDPR and NIS2.
  • Experience overseeing security operations, incident response and third-party risk.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions and regions.
  • Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Experience with operational technology and supply chain security is highly desirable.
