Global Head of FX Product Management

Wealth brings together the full power of Citi to serve the entire continuum of wealth clients - from affluent to ultra-high net worth to family offices. Through our three business lines - Citigold, Citi Private and Wealth at Work - we work with the world's changemakers to build their wealth with expert investments insights and solutions and our deposits and lending platforms.

Citi Wealth is seeking an experienced, commercially driven leader to serve as the Global Head of FX Product Management within its Global Capital Markets organization. This is a platform-building and business-transformation role responsible for designing, developing, and scaling an end-to-end foreign exchange (FX) product capability across Citi Wealth globally, supporting both the Citi Private Bank (CPB) and Consumer Wealth channels.

The successful candidate will lead the global product strategy and roadmap, overseeing the delivery of digital client trading platforms, workflow enhancements across order execution, booking, and settlement, regulatory and client reporting, and real-time collateral and derivative monitoring capabilities.

This role requires a strategic leader with deep foreign exchange market knowledge who can operate seamlessly across trading desks, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and client-facing advisory teams.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Strategy & Digital Development

  • Define and execute the global product platform roadmap for FX across Private Bank and Consumer Wealth channels.
  • Lead the development and rollout of digital client trading platforms across desktop, web, and mobile channels.
  • Oversee the evaluation, integration, and enhancement of FX pricing engines, multi-dealer aggregator platforms, and electronic execution capabilities.
  • Drive workflow enhancements to expand Straight-Through-Processing (STP) and deliver seamless multi-channel client access.

Derivatives & Collateral Monitoring

  • Manage product capabilities for FX derivatives, vanilla options, and structured FX products across all wealth segments.
  • Lead the design and implementation of real-time collateral monitoring, risk controls, and margining frameworks to support active client trading.
  • Partner with Credit Risk, Lending, and Operations to optimize credit line integration and streamline client onboarding workflows.

Operating Model & Workflow Enhancements

  • Lead initiatives to modernize and simplify the global FX operating model across execution, order management, booking, and post-trade settlement systems.
  • Partner with Technology and Operations to eliminate manual friction, improve pricing tier competitiveness, and enhance execution workflows.
  • Collaborate with Institutional Markets to optimize pricing access, product coverage, and cross-franchise revenue capture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
