City String Ensemble
City String Ensemble is a multi-genre string ensemble. Originally formed at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, CSE has grown from a highly sought-after string quartet to a full-scale string orchestra and can be seen regularly performing concerts, recording soundtracks for movies, and releasing and performing their very own classical covers of songs from modern culture, so far culminating in over half a million streams on Spotify alone.

Known for their more informal approach to performances compared to typical classical concerts, CSE is committed to performing in a more accessible and engaging way, redefining the traditional concert experience.

CSE's repertoire spans pop, rock, anime, and film music, bridging the gap between classical and mainstream genres. Following the success of their previous anime and pop covers albums, the most recent release has been a Taylor Swift tribute album.
