Civil Design Engineer - Birmingham

£30k - £40k + Benefits

Our client, a growing engineering firm based in Birmingham city centre, is looking for a motivated Civil Design Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside senior engineers, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce drawings, calculations, reports, and design documents
  • Use design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow, KeySign, and Lighting Reality
  • Apply CDM designers' duties and company procedures to deliver high-quality projects
  • Collaborate with project engineers, technicians, and clients
  • Identify and manage risks and support project delivery
  • Conduct site visits as required

Role Details:

  • Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE) plus benefits (~£2,500)
  • Hours: 7.5 hours/day, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Birmingham city centre office
