Role Description
The Civil Design Engineer role is a remote, flexible, full-time position. The engineer will be responsible for preparing design drawings, technical reports, and calculations for residential civil infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and site development. The role involves using Site3D design software to model roads and drainage systems, development layouts, as well as occasional site visits, design reviews, and resolving technical issues during construction. The successful candidate will contribute to project delivery from concept through detailed design, ensuring value, quality, safety, and compliance throughout.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in residential Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to produce accurate detailed drawings and calculations.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, including drainage design, flood risk considerations, and sustainable urban drainage systems.
- Skills in roads design, covering alignment, profiles, cross-sections, and adherence to relevant highway standards.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Experience using civil design and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Site3D or similar) and strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and authorities.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
