This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced and growing Parking Services Team. We are looking to recruit a Civil Enforcement Officer who will primarily be responsible for ensuring that parking regulations are enforced and that this results in reduced congestion across the town and surrounding areas, enabling a vibrant and welcoming parking environment.

Day-to-Day

The role is primarily enforcing parking regulations through the issuing of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs). This can be in restricted parking areas, car parks, on-street pay and display parking bays, and residents parking zones. The role also involves carrying out immobilisation or removal of vehicles that are in contravention.

The role will involve working outdoors in all weathers covering all terrains. Patrolling will take place on foot or by use of company fleet.

The role follows a 3-week shift pattern covering operational hours of the service, which can include some evenings and weekends during this rota pattern.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
