Job Description
Joining us as a Civil Engineer, your role will support a major UK nuclear project. Your main responsibilities include:
- Coordinate review and acceptance of civil engineering technical deliverables
- Produce building-specific documentation including handover reports and hypothesis notes
- Raise and manage technical queries as primary contact for civil designers
- Support resolution of complex and transverse technical engineering challenges
- Assist team leads and stakeholders in progressing detailed design solutions
- Coordinate resolution and tracking of building-specific technical issues
- Support preparation of progress reports and identification of project risks
- Review technical proposals and variations alongside contract engineering lead
- Assist detailing engineering lead with building-specific technical clarifications
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and delivery

Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience within civil engineering design office environments
- Strong reinforced concrete design and detailing experience essential
- Proficient understanding of Eurocodes and structural design standards
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and safety compliance
- Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Revit
- Nuclear sector experience advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
