We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our growing team, helping to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across major infrastructure, transportation, energy, water, aviation and development projects.

You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of programmes, clients, and industries, gaining exposure to projects of varying scale, complexity, and technical challenge.

We offer hybrid working which involves 3 days per week being office/site based. This position can be based from any of our major offices of London Nova, Epsom, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, or Glasgow. It can also be based in our regional offices of Leeds, Newcastle, Peterborough, Exeter, Derby, Cardiff, or Swansea.

You will:

  • Deliver high-quality civil engineering design solutions across a diverse project portfolio.
  • Take ownership of technical work packages and support the successful delivery of projects from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines to develop integrated and sustainable outcomes.
  • Support project delivery from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners, developing confidence in client-facing responsibilities.
  • Contribute to project planning, coordination, and resource management, building your experience in leading project teams and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Help identify opportunities that create additional value for clients and communities.

About You

We are looking for people who are proactive, collaborative, and motivated to continue developing their technical and professional skills. You will be keen to take on greater responsibility, build your project leadership experience, and contribute to the development of others.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Recently Chartered or actively working towards Chartered status with ICE or equivalent professional institution with well-developed professional experience.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • The ability to take ownership of technical tasks and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with growing confidence in client-facing roles.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering practical, sustainable engineering solutions.
  • A commitment to technical excellence, innovation, and continuous professional development.
