Are you passionate about designing infrastructure that creates lasting social value for people, places and the environment? Join Stantec's growing Civil Infrastructure team in Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team, delivering innovative infrastructure projects across the South West and beyond. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of developments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions while benefiting from flexible working and excellent career development opportunities.

About The Role

You'll contribute to the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, working from concept and planning through to detailed design and construction support.

You'll collaborate with colleagues across our buildings, environmental and transportation teams to deliver integrated solutions, while developing your technical skills and supporting the wider team.

YOUR IMPACT

You Will

  • Develop and deliver highway and drainage infrastructure designs.
  • Work on projects from concept through to detailed design and construction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Liaise with local authorities, highway and drainage authorities, utility companies and other stakeholders.
  • Support project delivery to programme, budget and quality requirements.
  • Contribute to sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions.
  • Support and learn from experienced engineers and technical specialists.

ABOUT YOU

You'll have a BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally within a consultancy environment.

You'll Also Have

  • Experience in highway and drainage design.
  • Good knowledge of relevant UK standards and infrastructure design principles.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for developing your career.
  • Experience with Civil 3D and InfoDrainage would be advantageous.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
