Brand new role for 2023. Christchurch based, 9 day fortnight, excellent salary package and great company culture.

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer who is interested in working across a wide range of large and small Land Development projects? Keen to find a role with room to grow and progression opportunities? Looking for a flexible working environment with 9 day fortnight? If so please get in touch.

This intermediate level Civil Engineer role would offer the opportunity to work for a well known and highly regarded consultancy which has offices based throughout New Zealand and a workforce of over 150 staff across the civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and land surveying sectors.

The business is currently undergoing a period of growth and is able to offer excellent ongoing career development and progression opportunities to ambitious engineers. The civil engineering division is currently involved a wide range of projects across the land development, urban design, shared spaces, 3 waters projects and has an excellent mix of private and government clients.

This role would suit someone who has Civil 3D software experience and is looking for a 360 degree engineer role with the chance to get out of the office and be involved in the project management and delivery of projects – You will have the opportunity to work alongside the company senior management team in liaising with a wide range of existing clients across ongoing and upcoming projects. Most of the company directors and senior executives joined the company as engineers and have been offered career progression opportunities.

You will ideally already be working in the NZ engineering sector with 3 years of civil engineering experience since gaining your bachelors of civil engineering degree.

The role offers the chance to be part of a vibrant and highly experienced engineering team within a company which has an excellent track record of internal promotion and investing in their staff. A very competitive salary package is on offer as well as a 9 day working fortnight and flexible working conditions for staff who may have family/personal commitments to consider.
