Role Description
This is a full-time Civil Engineer role based in Witney with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing up to 50% WFH. The Civil Engineer will undertake civil engineering design for residential and commercial schemes, including site layout, levels, and infrastructure design. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed drawings and design calculations
- Supporting planning applications
- Contributing to stormwater and drainage management strategies
The role involves coordinating with Senior Engineers, architects, and other design team members, attending meetings, and communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders. The Civil Engineer will also assist in risk assessment, technical reporting, and ensuring designs are cost-effective, compliant with regulations, and deliverable on site.

We Require
- Knowledge of Planning processes and procedures
- Proficiency in CAD software, and familiarity with Civil 3D
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Professional registration or progression toward chartered status is an advantage
