Responsibilities
- Create high-quality technical drawings and detailed plans based on provided designs by engineers and make adjustments to existing drawings.
- Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D proficiently.
- Communicate with engineers to understand design requirements and construction techniques.
- Manage your workload and meet deadlines in a busy and dynamic team environment.
- Produce accurate, detailed drawings to scale.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, health and safety, and technical protocols.
- Conduct site visits and inspections when necessary.
- Prepare working drawings to be used through every stage of design, detailed designs, construction documents, and as-built.
- Maintain accurate records.
About You
Essential
Qualifications
- ONC/HNC in Civil Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent qualifications and relevant experience.
Experience
- Experience of working to regular, operational or project time limits.
Knowledge and Skills
- Genuine commitment to achieving excellent customer results, with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for your work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive working relationships and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret information, manage competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure to meet regular and project deadlines.
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements and safe working practices.

The role is based in South Wales; however, we welcome applications from candidates across Wales and may consider alternative base locations for the right candidate.
