Civil Infrastructure Engineer
Bath
£50,000 - £75,000
I am recruiting for a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team in Bath.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer looking to work on complex and high-profile projects ranging from local infrastructure schemes to large-scale masterplanning and urban development projects. You'll have the opportunity to influence sustainable infrastructure design while working alongside experienced technical specialists across multiple disciplines.
The Role
As a Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of infrastructure projects from concept through to construction. You will:
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Review and deliver the design of highways, utilities, and sustainable drainage systems.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and programme delivery.
- Monitor project financial performance and commercial outcomes.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Support business development activities and contribute to securing future project opportunities.
- Drive innovation in areas such as low-carbon infrastructure and modern design methodologies.

What You'll Need
To be successful, you will have:
- Strong experience in civil infrastructure design within a consultancy environment.
- Technical expertise in Highways/Utilities/Sustainable Drainage (SuDS)
- Experience delivering multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and drainage design software.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions and continuous improvement.
