Job Title: Civil Project Engineer
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join an established Engineering team on a 12-month contract in Alloa.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional engineer with strong project management experience to take ownership of engineering projects, budgets and CAPEX delivery within a busy operational environment.
đź”§ The Role
As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing engineering projects from specification through to delivery. You’ll provide specialist engineering knowledge, develop technical specifications and project costs, and work closely with external contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing engineering projects, budgets and CAPEX activities
- Developing technical specifications and project costings
- Liaising with external contractors, suppliers and engineering resources
- Coordinating appropriate resources to support successful project delivery
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Managing multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and cost
- Supporting the successful delivery of engineering projects from concept through to completion

We’re looking for someone who is confident, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholder groups.

You’ll ideally have:
- An HND or Degree-level engineering qualification
- Significant professional engineering experience
- Strong project management experience
- Experience working on CAPEX / engineering projects
- Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills
- Strong financial and budget management acumen
- A relevant Health & Safety qualification, such as NEBOSH
- Evidence of continued professional development in project management/engineering
