We have over 185 employees that we are proud to have represent us, operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our team by recruiting a civil/structural engineer to work out of our Stockport office 2-3 days a week, with home working or site/client travel on the other working days.

We are looking for:

  • A good degree in either Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Be actively working towards obtaining C.Eng.
  • Recent technical experience gained with civil/structural elements, ideally from within a consultancy, with renewable energy or electrical transmission project knowledge.
  • Experience of conducting quality inspections of materials and methods such as pre-formed and cast concrete structures, drainage, and steelwork.
  • Excellent knowledge of foundations, piling, structural steelwork, drainage to UK and European building standards (Eurocodes). A good understanding of geotechnical risks.
  • The ability to produce and explain high-quality engineering design, technical reports, and feasibility studies for clients.
  • Comfortable in interpreting engineering drawings, design specifications, and functional descriptions.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and risk assessments, able to identify design risks.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • A full driving licence and vehicle for travel to sites/meetings.
