Civil Technician

Fully Remote (UK) £40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits Hyperscale Data Centres | Middle East, Nordics & UK

Would you like to work on some of the most advanced hyperscale data centre developments across the Middle East, Nordics and the UK? Are you looking for a fully remote role that offers major project exposure without compromising your work life balance? Does joining a specialist engineering team delivering mission critical infrastructure projects on a global scale sound like the next step in your career?

A growing engineering consultancy specialising in mission critical infrastructure is seeking a Civil Technician to support the delivery of hyperscale data centre projects across international markets.

Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, you will play a key role in the design and coordination of large scale, high profile developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Technician who enjoys technically challenging projects and wants to be part of a rapidly growing sector with strong long term prospects.

We Are Looking For A Civil Technician Who:

  • Has experience producing civil engineering drawings for infrastructure or development projects;
  • Is proficient in Civil 3D and Revit software;
  • Has experience working on drainage, highways, earthworks or utility infrastructure projects;
  • Understands design coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery;
  • Has strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving;
  • Can work effectively within a remote team environment;
  • Has excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders;
  • Is comfortable speaking with clients and explain project details;
  • Has the right to work in the UK.

As The Successful Civil Technician, You Will:

  • Produce civil engineering drawings and technical documentation for hyperscale data centre developments;
  • Support the design of highways, drainage, external works and utility infrastructure;
  • Coordinate designs with structural, mechanical and electrical engineering teams;
  • Assist with BIM and multidisciplinary project coordination;
  • Contribute to projects across the Middle East, Nordic region and UK markets;
  • Support project delivery from concept design through to construction stages;
  • Play a key role in the delivery of mission critical infrastructure projects.

Package

  • £40,000 - £55,000;
  • Fully remote working;
  • 38hrs per week;
  • 7% pension contribution match;
  • 22 days annual leave increasing to 25 with years of service plus Christmas to New Year closure;
  • Health cash plan;
  • Two professional memberships paid;
  • Quarterly bonus (5% per quarter - 20% per year);
